About:
Short Hills Provincial Park is a beautiful natural escape in the Niagara Region, known for its rolling hills, forested valleys, streams, and scenic waterfalls. As Niagara’s only provincial park, it offers over 23 kilometres of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, birdwatching, and winter activities like snowshoeing. Popular spots such as Swayze Falls and Terrace Creek Falls make the park especially scenic during wetter seasons. The park is non-operating, meaning there are no campgrounds or major facilities, which helps preserve its peaceful wilderness atmosphere. Visitors love it for its rugged terrain, wildlife, Carolinian forest, and quiet escape from nearby city life.
